By the river on a carpet of autumn fallen leaves, a soft breeze lifts my hair ….
I am walking, and breathing.
(The Hebrew word ‘ruach’ means wind, breath and spirit, and the original syllables of the unpronounceable-name-of-God which we now pronounce ‘Jahweh’ may simply be the sounds of breath, inhaling and exhaling.)
So I say to God ‘you are in my breath’
And God says back to me ‘You ARE my breath’
……… Which takes my breath away.
